April events reminder

We have two events remaining in April: AGM Monday 27 April and Chesworth Chat at The Tanners Arms Tuesday 28 April. Admission free to both evening events, all welcome.

Our AGM is on this coming Monday 27 April. Meet 7.00pm (refreshments) for 7.30pm start, The Drill Hall, Denne Road. There will be a short formal agenda followed by two mini presentations, “Water, water, everywhere”, a personal review of the new wetland project by FCF committee member Mike Ayling and “The Birds”, a summary of the Chesworth Farm Nest Box Study 2014 by HDC countryside warden Stuart Card. People are welcome to join Friends of Chesworth Farm, or renew their membership, at the meeting.

The following Tuesday evening is Chesworth Chat, our new monthly drop-in social for all supporters and farm users at The Tanners Arms, corner of Arun Way and Brighton Road, from 7pm. All welcome.

Grazing
The herd of llamas, goats and sheep are in enclosed Tip Field (no public access). Please do not feed any of the grazing animals on the site – they are well cared for, fed and watered. They are here to help maintain the farmland habitat.

Horse-riders and cyclists please keep to the bridleways. These cross the site E-W or N-S. If you are on a diagonal field path, you are definitely not on the right track.
