We enjoyed hearing about the water celebration at Chesworth Farm recently. Jill Shuker, leader of Horsham District Health Walks, commented to Horsham District Council, “Thank you so much for allowing us to use the parking and the beautiful facilities at Chesworth for our water celebration. Chesworth is looking gorgeous with all the new greenery and the may and all the fresh grass and with the water in the new meadows, it was wonderful.
“We were very lucky with the weather as the sun came out just in time and we sat in the warmth and protection of the viewing platform.
“As we were sitting contemplating the water, and listening to the water fall, we saw three (yes you read right) kingfishers dart downstream from the weir: it was absolutely magical…”
