Whatever the weather, the Friends of Chesworth Farm are still running the farm’s first Open Day until 4pm and most of our events are inside or under cover. Due to weather conditions, we are making the volunteer centre accessible by car. Just ask at the front gate in Queensway RH 13 0AA. New Horsham MP Jeremy Quin called in despite the rain!
We have face-painting, animal mask-making, sand-colouring and pond-dipping for children of all ages! We have home-made cakes and sausage rolls and hot drinks. We have an “All things dogs” stall with dog related competitions, give-aways and information. Andrew Forsyth, twice finalist in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, is on hand to answer your photography questions.
You can also take a self-guided walk and visit our new boardwalked wetland area – or the dog splash! We have information about Chesworth Farm and the other HDC countryside sites. Due to weather conditions, we are making the volunteer centre accessible by car. Just ask at the front gate in Queensway.
