Chesworth Farm wetlands by Steve Knight
Those familiar with the photographs we often feature by Steve Knight will not be surprised that he won the landscape section of a local nature photography competition and also took the prize for overall winner.
The quality of entries was as high as ever in the Nature Photographer of the Year 2015 run by the Friends of Warnham LNR with HDC.
Steve’s winning picture, of the wetlands at Chesworth Farm in the Landscapes of Horsham Nature Reserves category, was judged to be “… very atmospheric…”
The other competition headings were British Flora and Fungi, British Fauna, Overseas and Young Photographers.
The winning entries feature on the Friends of Warnham LNR website and many more can be viewed in the Visitor Centre (entry free) at Warnham LNR until the end of this year.
We reproduce Steve’s picture above. He has also framed a print for us which will soon be on display in the Chesworth Farm volunteer centre.
