Several mornings’ hard work have gone into the new hedge bordering Pedlars Way, thanks to the young volunteers from Gatwick Greenspace Partnership.

The group says, “Putting the finishing touches on the laid hedge yesterday at Chesworth. A great achievement for our ‪#‎YouthRangers‬ who learnt new skills and worked really hard to get this project completed ahead of schedule. We’re looking forward to re-visiting it in the summer to see how it greens-up.

“If anyone in interested, we’re running a hedge-laying course soon in Crawley and there are a few spaces still available, see link below.”

Grazing
The herd of llamas, goats and sheep are in enclosed Tip Field (no public access). Please do not feed any of the grazing animals on the site – they are well cared for, fed and watered. They are here to help maintain the farmland habitat.

Horse-riders and cyclists please keep to the bridleways. These cross the site E-W or N-S. If you are on a diagonal field path, you are definitely not on the right track.
