Bark in the Park Horsham Sunday 15 May 10am-12pm

Popular fund-raising dog walk, Bark in the Park Horsham, will again be at Chesworth Farm this year, on Sunday 15 May. And this year it’s organised by The Friends of Chesworth Farm, at the invitation of St Catherine’s Hospice, so please help us to raise woof-worthy amounts of funds for them!

The Friends have planned a new 3km walk round the farm and an accessible shorter route (around 1.5km) for scooter riders, wheelchair-users or for those pushing a buggy. Both routes will include the boardwalk overlooking the wetland area and a visit to the Friends’ dog splash on the River Arun.

Plus we have an “I-spy on Chesworth Farm” sheet for young children to spot items on their walk.

First people to sign up can take advantage of our “early-hound” reduced price entry: £8 for your first dog, £4 each for up to two more of your dogs at the same address UP TILL MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY 14 MAY. These entry fees will rise to £10 and £5 respectively on the day. Registration is confirmed by your payment  – via online banking, cheque or cash.

On top of your entry fee you are very welcome to find extra sponsorship (please ask us for sponsorship forms) or use JustGiving – please nominate St Catherine’s Hospice as your chosen charity.

Emily Bradbury, Community Fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, commented: ‘The hospice needs to raise £17,000 every day to provide people in our local community with free, vital, end of life care and support.

‘Bark in the Park Horsham is a way that you can help fundraise for us to ensure that we can continue to provide this service to anyone in the community that needs it.  Our thanks go to Friends of Chesworth Farm for organising this fun event this year and Horsham District Council for providing such a beautiful venue.’
