Hay cut underway

The hay cut is underway in this glorious, unexpectedly hot, October weather. The countryside warden team say the contractors expect to be bailing by the end of the week, hoping to have the wrapped bails off the farm by the weekend – but this may spill into next week. Grazing
The herd of llamas, goats and sheep are in enclosed Tip Field (no public access). Please do not feed any of the grazing animals on the site – they are well cared for, fed and watered. They are here to help maintain the farmland habitat.

Horse-riders and cyclists please keep to the bridleways. These cross the site E-W or N-S. If you are on a diagonal field path, you are definitely not on the right track.
