As part of its ongoing project to improve the sewer network in Horsham, Southern Water is now ready to carry out the final manhole connection onto the existing gravity sewer. They start work along Chesworth Lane at the junction of Chesworth Crescent on Monday 22 July 2024 for a period of about three weeks.
- From Monday 22 July 2024 they will be closing Chesworth Lane at the junction of Chesworth Crescent while they carry out the work.
- There will be a diversion in place. You’ll find a map of the diversion route (in blue) and how to contact Southern Water about the works below
- Pedestrian access will always be maintained.
- Southern water will be on site from 7.30am but won’t start any noisy work until 8am. They will always aim to finish by 5pm.
- Says Richard Kirk, Southern Water project manager: “ We would like to thank you for your support and patience whilst we undertake this essential work.”
