WSCC path works using Chesworth for access

New advice from HDC Chesworth Farm potentially affecting all farm users: “Please note that West Sussex County Council have contractors on site from Wednesday 25 September. They will have a small compound at the Chesworth House/Parlour Mead junction (red dot) and will be moving materials between this point and the Arun Bridge (yellow line).

If you are walking your dog or children around the site please keep in mind the machinery and your dog on a lead/under close control around the site. We appreciate your patience whilst these essential works take place.”

Grazing: British White cattle are in Little Horsham Hill field (enclosed).
The mini-herd of Llamas and Pygmy Goat is currently in Parlour Mead field (enclosed). Please do not feed any of the grazing animals on the site – they are well cared for, fed and watered. They are here to help maintain the farmland habitat.

Horse-riders and cyclists please keep to the bridleways. These cross the site E-W or N-S. If you are on a diagonal field path, you are definitely not on the right track.
